Orc&Hammer

Context :

This game was created during the Global Game Jam : Montréal Game Jam. The Gamejam theme was "Repair". The group was composed of 5 persons one sound designer, two artists and two developer. We choose to create an arcade type game. The goal is to repair objects destroying themselves. Using the wrong tool on the wrong object will cause more damage. Lack of time was our ennemy and we did not do all the things we wanted.
The modular code allow to create objects with different states (Common, Broken , Burned, etc).  

My tasks : 

  • Lead programming and paper Class Diagram before coding. 

  • Objects and their interactions implementation (scriptable objects)

  • States implementation (scriptable objects)

  • Event system causing objects deterioration quicker as time pass

  • Images and sounds integration
