Between Light And Darkness

​

Context :

We created this game for the game laboratory class. We were 7 person working on the project for 3 month. Our reflexions and exchanges leaded us to a horror puzzle game type.  More precisely, we wanted the player to escape from a school like an escape room with a monster running after him. That is the more ambitious project i worked on until now. 

Loving puzzles games (Like Zelda) and escape rooms , I really wanted to work on a project like this.

My tasks :​

  • Debugging 

  • Puzzles conception

  • Puzzles level design (position on map) 

  • Puzzle implementation (Scriptable Objects) :

  1. Padlocks (movement, encryption/decryption, foreground with background blurry effect); 

  2. Lovers puzzle (code)

  3. Gymnasium => Get banners to shut the light off making the appearance of phosphorescent numbers

  4. Give cheese to a raven and get a key (reference "Fable de la fontaine")
